Well done to all runners today - it was a soggy morning, but the overnight rain stayed away so the run was quite pleasant. Nice to see new joiners continue to come along. Well done also to those who scored PBs today.
Wow - what a run this morning! In perfect conditions for running, 28 people started and the course record was again obliterated (well done Ranil!) AND lots of people got PBs - well done all. The key thing is people who have been turning up regularly are starting to improve their times, and are really enjoying themselves - what more can we ask?!
We had a fantastic turnout of families today and it looked like all had a great time. We had a stunning run by a junior runner (well done James Poole), with Ian and Heather setting the pace. Overall, it was a lovely morning for a run and I think it's safe to say we all enjoyed it - with plenty of PBs being set again. There's good camraderie building up after the race too, which is great to see. I am paranoid that I've left some times out - If I've forgotten you, please let me know and I'll add the time in.
Well done to all runners who took part today. Particular kudos to Ranil who obliterated the course record - also special mention to Tom Steel and Megan Bridge, junior runners who had great runs. Great to have new people continue to join us, and also thankful for the reliables who return week after week
